This is a great book that introduces basic evolutionary theory to children. The text is simple, the photos are attractive, and the book held the attention of my 7 year old. We checked the book out from the library, but I think I might purchase it, because she would definitely want to read it again! This book is very informational and can be useful to children of all ages, even adults too. When I was reading it I didn't know some of the stuff the book covered! It would be hard for a child to read on their own, but very beneficial if there is a lesson an instructor needs to teach about human ancestors. It was a good book that I... I liked this book because I learned a lot about the people that lived WAY before me. Some of them are my ancestors. My favorite part was learning about the Neanderthals that lived from 100,000 to 35,000 years ago.
